Aaron Carlson is thrilled to be working on this project with best friend and fellow Loyola alum, Ioanna Kekatos. Aaron approaches life through a lens of curiosity, integrity, and a willingness to take risks. He believes that educating yourself and being critical of the world around you is paramount to finding where a good story starts. Likewise, he would argue that no story ever has a true ending.

Aaron earned a bachelor’s of business administration with honors from Loyola University Chicago, and also holds two master’s degrees from Northern Illinois University, an MBA and an M.S. of higher education.

His diverse career background and extensive written work prepares him well for critical discussion on a variety of topics, including wellness, corporate/political strategy and issues pertaining to social justice and equity.

Aaron is thrilled to be joining Amazon at the end of the summer as an Operations Area Manager! In his off time he invests in the market, goes for runs, travels with his fiancé, and bakes whatever his fiancé is craving.

Ioanna Kekatos is a Chicago native who is trilingual in Greek, English and French. She has a background in HTML coding, SEO, Google Analytics, Reporting, Scriptwriting, Editing (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, and AVID), and inews.

She graduated with her Master's  in Digital Media and Storytelling from Loyola University. In addition to her Bachelors Degree in Multimedia Journalism from Loyola University Chicago, she has hands-on experience working at NBC Nightly News With Lester Holt, WGN, and Rambler Sports Locker.

Ioanna has a passion for storytelling and doing so in an ethical and just way. From sports and to local news and politics, Ioanna has covered it all. She is the head anchor and reporter of Rambler Sports Locker.

She enjoys working in high-pressure situations. From researching and interviewing to recording and editing, she likes to follow the story from beginning to end.

When she’s not working covering a story, you can probably catch Ioanna taking a SoulCycle class or spending time with her huge Greek family.
